Medical marijuana is a popular choice for pain relief, and that’s what worries some Utahns

Last Sunday, SL tribune ran an interview with Truce board member Nathan Frodsham. Nathan is a chronic pain patient.

The article paints Eagle Forum’s Gayle Ruzicka as being concerned about the “overly broad” definition of “chronic pain”.
The definition is NOT broad; it’s all about long-term pain issues. The reasons for chronic pain ARE broad, because there are a lot of different maladies that can result in long term pain.

Yet the use of medical cannabis for pain relief would fall under the Eagle Forum’s own pillar of conservative principles:

“Supporting the right of all to choose health care, including alternative methods.”
