"Nevada Governor Steve Sisolak has ordered cannabis dispensaries to close their storefronts in the COVID-19 pandemic.

The order allows them to go to delivery only. A directive from Nevada's Department of Taxation said curbside pickup would not be allowed.

As a result, West Wendover's lone marijuana seller has been forced to shut its doors. Deep Roots Harvest said it did not have the ability to offer a delivery service. In Nevada, recreational and medical cannabis sales are allowed. In Utah, it is medical only."

West Wendover (and the state of NV) are definitely facing very hard times for the near future, with 70% of the state's economy being based on gaming and (now closed down) tourism.

We wonder if Nevada's pharmacies and liquor stores are closed as well, and we strongly doubt it at least in the case of regular pharmacies.

Meanwhile, Utah's Dragonfly Wellness remains opening for the small number of card-holding Utah patients, and California's order on essential businesses allows cannabis dispensaries to remain open in least most of the state. New York's medical cannabis dispensaries are also open.
