Our hearts go out to a Utahn in the Tribune’s story who tragically most likely won’t be around to see how the Initiative campaign works out, but who is still so passionate about the quality of life medical cannabis has helped him maintain during the course of his illness that he’s going to continue to give supporting the BI his all for as long as he possibly can.

TRUCE salutes you, Forrest Shaw. And we’d also like to take this opportunity to invite the whole TRUCE community to donate to Forrest’s GoFundMe page, which helps support him and enables him to get about: http://ift.tt/2s4H8Hf

And, yes, as you know by now, the Utah Patients Coalition (#UPC) WILL be submitting their Medical Cannabis Ballot Initiative to the Lieutenant Governor’s office on MONDAY (6/26) to get the ball rolling…..

…so the bull is finally in the chute and the pin’s about to be pulled…!

Hang on… …there’s going to be some weeks of mandatory matters to handle, some legally required informational meetings to be held, final language to be approved and so forth….

…and then official signature gathering will begin… …and from there until the campaign’s concluded, it’s going to be a long and wild ride with lots of pro– and anti- voices weighing in and likely loudly… …while TRUCE will be there helping to sort the wheat from the chaff and the facts from the propaganda….

….so with any luck at all, YOUR voices are finally going to have their chance to be heard!
