Even in one of the most progressive countries with cannabis laws, the medical establishment is overcoming stigma. After several years of experience with medical cannabis, regulators in Israel are responding by easing, not increasing, the beauracratic hurdles for patients. US states can learn from Israel by supporting streamlined legislation that helps prevent the perpetuation of ignorance and historical stigma.
